Who's on the Narrow Road? Edit text here

A narrow road is for a few people but a wide road is for many. In the end there will be few who travel the narrow road, most will take the wide road. Its the easy one, since most will be on it. The only ones who will take the narrow ones are the true believers, not the religious people for many are still lost; but only those who have come to know that they are a sinner and have asked Jesus to save them.

Matthew 7:13,14 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it."

Man becomes wrapped up in a world of pleasures, and it is not a convenient time to consider his salvation or eternal destiny, where he shall end up.

Another is occupied with his business or with the cares of life; hopes of gaining or advancing himself with his career or profession, and convinces himself it is not now a convenient time for him to consider his religious needs.

Another believes that this time of life is not the most convenient.
In his youth he desires to spend on pleasures, and waits for a more convenient time in middle age. His middle life he spends in business, and this is not a convenient time. Such a period he expects then to find in old age. But as age advances he finds he increasingly desires to put it off; still in love with the world. Even old age is seldom found to be a convenient time to prepare for heaven; and puts it off just a little longer, until death closes the scene and then it is too late.

There are many on the wide road or wide gate but in the end there will be an existence without God in a place the Bible calls Hell. Few will find themselves on the narrow road or going by way of the narrow gate.

Luke 13:27 says, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. The Bible tells us to 'strive' that is how important it is for our eternal life the find and receive Jesus so that when we leave here we will spend eternity with Him in Heaven.

There really is no other option, Heaven or Hell, which road are you on, which gate are you passing through. Hebrews 9:27 says, And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Which road or path are you on; is it the road to Heaven or the road to Hell.

When we die the body dies, but the soul lives on. So what happens to the soul, is the question.

The soul will either end up in Heaven or in Hell; but what are the reasons for where the soul will go.

How have you reacted when the gospel is presented to you? Have the pleasures of life, make it not a convenient time to consider your salvation. Is it business dealings and profession that make it not a convenient time to come to religion.

Is it your youth that you want to wait for a more convenient time in middle age. Is it middle life one spends in business, and this is not a convenient time. Is it later years and still wanting to put it off just a little longer; are you still in love with the world. Seldom is it found to be a convenient time to prepare for heaven; it just keeps getting put off until death comes and then it is too late.

It is commonly believed that Felix never found that more convenient time to call for Paul. Will you have a convenient time to seek the Lord.

The gospel simply is this. Tell a man what God's standard is, show him that he cannot live up to it, and tell him that as as such there will be judgement unless he recognizes that Jesus Christ took his sin, paid his penalty of judgment, and offers him His righteousness by faith.
